So,we said goodbye to guangzhou,and left for Wuhan,more than a thousand km away via the world's fastest train.--(和谐号）！What makes it so meaningful and remarkable is that the design,and the making of the train ,is solely through Chinese effort and technology.China now leads the world in this field.

Guangzhou gives us an impression of wealth and chaos ,a blind pursuit of progress. My contact with the people here (not many,though) is not very pleasant.There is a lack of good values and patriotism.It is in the forefront of development,and as such is the first to gather much material wealth.Guangzhou should be thankful to the Central Gov't for the priveleges it enjoys.But instead,most of the people I met were critical and unthankful to the Central Gov't,and leaned more to the West.

China undoubtedly is well governed.It has prospered and her citizens are now able to live in comfort and wellbeing,as compared to the past.Gone are the days of famine and recurring epithermic and civil unrest.China now has its rightful place in the world,and not to be bullied like during the end of Ching Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic.

7 am 出发，赴 广州北区车站，（和谐号）将于9.30 am 抵达，车费（广州--武汉）为479元。我们预料将于1pm 到武汉。（和谐号）平均时速为340 km/h，车行平稳。我以为广东省地势平坦，但我们却是在山区穿行，过了好几个隧道。我们有停留在几个站----潼关，长沙，衡阳，衡山等

1pm 准时到武汉，地陪小曼已在等待。在武汉市区吃午餐。初次在饭桌上看到以后每餐都会看到的‘常客’---武昌鱼。这鱼嘛，听同桌的说，多刺，肉还 可以。

黄鹤楼----这历史悠久，我闻名已久的建筑物，如今就在眼前。“执着你的手，相别在黄鹤楼。波涛万里长江水，送你下扬州---”这高耸的楼确有脑中塑就的气概，但那也是主角的长江水，如今已被许多现代化的摩天楼遮掩了----非得登高，才得一见其芳泽。多少的文人骚客，就在我现在处身之处，留下了感人心弦的诗歌。我多希望能有他们的文采，留下一篇我曾到此的心情写照。
在黄鹤楼，我们有一段小插曲。史济定掉队了。老君连忙四处寻找，才在一处凉亭找到了他。我们拍了不少相片，临走还拍了全体照。
